Session 1: The Biblical Basis for Evangelism
Friday, April 25 at 7:30pm
What does the Bible teach us about evangelism? Is evangelism a fundamental biblical imperative for the church, or does it fall in another category? How does our evangelism fit beside Christ’s church-gathering work? What is the goal of evangelism?
Session 2: What Evangelism Looks Like for Individual Christians
Saturday, April 26 at 9:00am
In what ways can Christians be “sowers of the Word” (mark 4) and “the salt of the earth” (Mat 5:13) during their daily routines? What do we need to know before speaking with our neighbors about the Christian faith? How can we be both truthful and winsome? What are some things we can do and say?
Session 3: Developing a Culture of Evangelism in our Churches
Saturday, April 26 at 11:00am
What can churches do to be that “city set on a hill” and the “lamp on its stand” that our Lord Jesus talks about in Mathew 5:14-15? What are some barriers to evangelism in our local churches and how can we overcome them? How do we establish realistic expectations that encourage Christians in the enjoyable work of evangelism?
